Creating Health on Daily Basis

Chopra Whole Person Care embodies a holistic approach to health and wellness, deeply rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. This approach is not merely about treating symptoms or diseases; it’s about integrating the Mind, Body, and Spirit, recognizing that each individual is an interconnected whole. By treating the root cause of symptoms or imbalances, we create health on a daily basis so we can thrive in our lives.

In this comprehensive model, the Mind is the experience of thoughts and emotions. Mental clarity and emotional balance are seen as integral to overall health. 

The Body is a constantly changing experience of physical sensations. in which every choice we make can influence how we experience the body. 

And Spirit is the underlying field of awareness within which we experience the mind and body. Spirit, or consciousness, connects us to the larger universe, offering a sense of purpose and inner peace.

The principles of Ayurveda employed by Chopra Whole Person Care are founded on the balance of the five fundamental elements: Space (Akasha), Air (Vayu), Fire (Agni/Tejas), Water (Jala), and Earth (Prithivi). These elements combine to form the three doshas (individual constitution)—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which are unique to each individual and determine their physiological and psychological tendencies. By understanding one’s constitution and their physical and emotional patterns, a person can learn to make choices that prevent disease and live to their full potential.
